ATI Pharmacology for NCLEX

 As the header suggests, the following is a gem of a post I found over at Allnurses.com and thought I'd share. Many of us are plowing through an Associates program with no Pharmacology course. So, it's up to us to spend the extra time necessary to learn Pharmacology if we expect to pass the NCLEX.

 I've listed out each category below and will update the files to include the info that is considered priority to both NCLEX and the UALR Nursing program. Feel free to download and manipulate as you see fit. I will update each category to incorporate UALR required info as I have time. The links are direct to Dropbox, so any updates should be real-time for each link. 

 Each item is formatted to fit on a 5" x 3" flashcard.

Some tips for Adult II So here are a few tips based on what I’ve experienced and what I’ve witnessed working well for others: I highly encourage you to read, write, and speak your notes out loud.  Multiple studies  exist that prove learning is multi-sensory. If you're into essential oils, that would be a great way to incorporate smell into the mix as well. There are also numerous studies showing a direct correlation between the olfactory system and learning. Studying with a certain smell, say peppermint, and then incorporating that smell when it’s time to test, improves recall. It’s worked for me anyway! On a sidenote, I also listen to a LOT of Chill tracks and Chillstep (no words) while I study. Then on game day, for the hour leading up to test time, I consume it.  It allows me to block out all the static and keep my mind focused.
